1. How accurate is the physics simulation compared to a real chronograph, or is it just a rough guess?
Airsoft Workbench Suite never uses static lookup tables or arbitrary multipliers. It integrates the coupled time-domain differential equations of motor torque, battery internal resistance, gear ratio, piston assembly mass, spring rate, swept cylinder volume, dynamic nozzle timing, and inner barrel friction in sub-millisecond steps. 7. Why is my physical replica shooting lower FPS on my chronograph than the simulation predicts?
The simulation calculates the true physical output of your selected parts assuming a healthy compression seal and clean mechanical assembly. If your real-world replica shoots significantly lower FPS or ROF than simulated, that gap reveals a physical assembly fault (such as a torn piston O-ring, un-trimmed DSG tappet fin causing nozzle timing blow-by, bucking lip leak, or tight gear shimming drag). In Pro and Workshop editions, you can type your measured chronograph numbers into the Diagnostic tab to automatically isolate the exact leak or drag source.
8. What PC hardware specs do I need, Especially when opening many build tabs or running the offline AI model?
For normal bench use (1 to 3 active build tabs), any modern Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit) PC or laptop with a 4-Core CPU, 8 GB RAM (4 GB minimum), and standard integrated WebGL graphics runs the 3D cutaway and 3D ballistic range smoothly. If you plan to run many simultaneous multi-build tabs (5 to 15+ open tabs with live 3D viewports), we recommend 16 GB to 32 GB RAM and a dedicated GPU with 4 GB+ VRAM.
