End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement" or "EULA") is a legally binding contract between you (either an individual user or a commercial workshop entity, referred to as "User", "Licensee", or "Workshop") and PT. KAVHAYA AUTOMATA INTELIGENSIA ("Licensor"), governing your use of the Airsoft Workbench Suite desktop software application, numerical solver engines, component catalog database, and associated documentation (collectively, the "Software").
BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, ACTIVATING, OR USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE.
1. Product Editions & Perpetual License Grants
Subject to the terms of this Agreement and payment of the applicable one-time perpetual license fees, Licensor grants Licensee a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and execute the Software strictly in accordance with the licensed edition:
Perpetual view-only simulator and .awbz package reader. Supports all replica platforms, the coupled firing-cycle physics solver, 3D cutaway viewport, and all 2D & 3D exterior ballistic views in view-only mode (interactive part-picker warning and custom modification dialogs are disabled in view-only mode). Unlocks B.O.M and PDF report inspection on signed workshop .awbz files.
Perpetual license for personal, non-commercial use on one (1) designated workstation. Includes 1 Year of Free Software & Catalog Updates. Unlocks the complete interactive build workflow, part picker, real-time fitment guardrails, custom modifications, full simulation, 6-DOF 2D & 3D ballistics, B.O.M shopping list, and standard PDF report with mandatory AWB watermark.
Perpetual license for personal, non-commercial use on one (1) designated workstation. Includes 1 Year of Free Software & Catalog Updates. Unlocks everything in Sport Edition plus Included Pro Tools (ROF Measurement, Bluetooth Chrono Connection, Bluetooth ETU Connection, etc.), Reverse Chrono Diagnostics, AI Tuner Copilot, Automated Constraint Optimizer, and Multi-Build Compare.
*Minimum 2 seats; each additional seat receives a compounding 20% discount. Workshop Edition is the ONLY edition licensed for commercial use. Includes 1 Year of Free Software & Catalog Updates, White-Label Custom Report & Quotation Builder, custom shop logo branding, Signed QR Stickers, .awbz Exporter, and AWB Online Repository publishing.
Commercial Use is defined as any use of the Software in connection with a commercial business, retail store, repair shop, or paid technical tuning service, or to generate client quotations, work orders, or build certificates for paying customers. Only Workshop Edition is licensed for Commercial Use. Using Community, Sport, or Pro editions for commercial business operations constitutes a material breach of this Agreement.
2. Multi-Bench Seat Licensing & Lemon Squeezy Activation
- Bench Seat Definition: Each licensed seat authorizes installation and activation on one (1) designated computer workstation.
- Compounding Multi-Seat Discount: Workshop Edition requires a minimum of 2 seats at a base rate of $79 USD per seat, with each additional seat receiving a compounding 20% discount (Seat 1 = $79.00, Seat 2 = $63.20, etc.).
- License Validation & Offline Cache: Licenses validate against the Lemon Squeezy Licensing API (
/v1/licenses/activateand/v1/licenses/validate) and store a local hardware-fingerprint cache for air-gapped offline workshop operation. - Machine Reassignment: Licensees may deactivate an existing seat to transfer activation to a replacement computer via the in-app License Manager or Activation Portal.
3. White-Label Rights & Mandatory Watermark Restrictions
Workshop Edition White-Label Grant: Active Workshop Edition licensees are granted worldwide authorization to upload their custom shop logo, company name, address, labor pricing, and warranty terms, and to distribute white-label PDF quotations, build reports, QR stickers, and signed .awbz packages to commercial clients.
Watermark Restrictions (Community, Sport, and Pro Editions): All exports generated under Community, Sport, or Pro editions carry the mandatory Airsoft Workbench Suite watermark. Removing, cropping, masking, or altering the watermark on non-commercial tiers is strictly prohibited.
4. Proprietary Solver Core, Functional CAD Standards & IP
The Software's time-domain differential equation solver, electromechanical motor model, pneumatic compression algorithms, 6-DOF exterior ballistic solver, constraint optimizer, and source code are proprietary works of PT. KAVHAYA AUTOMATA INTELIGENSIA. Licensee shall not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract proprietary source code or bundled assets from the Software binaries, except as expressly permitted by non-waivable statutory law.
Functional Mechanical Modeling Standards: Three-dimensional visual representations and kinematic boundary geometries depict generic, unbranded, utilitarian mechanical architectures in the public domain. Pursuant to established legal doctrine (including Meshworks, Inc. v. Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., 528 F.3d 1258), purely utilitarian representations of functional mechanical articles do not constitute separable artistic expression.
5. Third-Party Open Source & Nominative Fair Use Catalog
The Software dynamically links against open-source libraries under their respective licenses (including PySide6 / Qt 6 under GNU LGPLv3, Apache 2.0, and MIT/BSD libraries as detailed in THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md). Any aftermarket component brand or part names referenced in the parts catalog are the property of their respective owners and are used strictly for technical compatibility identification under nominative fair use; Licensor is not affiliated with or endorsed by third-party part manufacturers. Catalog parameters are empirical engineering approximations, and users can override any parameter on the bench.
6. Comprehensive Tuner Liability & Safety Disclaimer
All simulation outputs (FPS, Joules, ROF, lock time, pressure, current draw, and trajectories) are mathematical estimations provided strictly "AS-IS" without warranty. The technician, tuner, or user assumes SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE LIABILITY for physical replica assembly, mechanical modifications, high-pressure air (HPA) regulator safety, battery safety, mandatory physical chronograph testing with ANSI Z87.1+ / EN 166F eye protection, and compliance with all local and national statutory muzzle energy laws.
7. 14-Day Fair-Use Refund Policy
First-time purchases are eligible for a 100% full refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of initial purchase if the license key has not been activated on a workstation, or if the activated Software experiences a reproducible, blocking technical defect on a supported Windows 10/11 system that Licensor cannot resolve within five (5) business days. Because the $0 Community Edition is provided to verify hardware compatibility prior to purchase, once a paid license key is activated and used to save custom builds, export PDF/B.O.M reports, or issue Workshop .awbz certificates, the digital license is deemed consumed and non-refundable for change of mind.
